Klasyczny dramat chiński, "Romans Zachodniej Komnaty", autorstwa pisarza z dynastii Yuan (dynastii mongolskiej, lata 1271-1368), Wang'a Shifu, to miłosna opowieść szeroko znana w Państwie Środka. 🎭💔 Historia przedstawiona w formie opery pekińskiej w reżyserii Ye Shaolan'a dostosowana została do gustów współczesnej publiczności. "Romans" prezentuje losy biednego uczonego Zhang Sheng'a i jego ukochanej Cui Yingying, córki nadwornego ministra, których miłość stanowi nieakceptowalny precedens społeczny ze względu na różnice w statusie materialnym. Ówczesna instytucja małżeństwa rzadko uwzględniała uczucia młodych małżonków, będąc zazwyczaj aranżowaną przez rodziny, chcące zawrzeć korzystne sojusze. The classic Chinese drama, "Romance of the Western Chamber", by the Yuan Dynasty (Mongolian dynasty, 1271-1368) playwright Wang Shifu, is a love story widely known in the Middle Kingdom. 🎭💔 The story presented in the form of a Beijing opera directed by Ye Shaolan has been adapted to the tastes of the modern audience. "Romance" presents the fate of the poor scholar Zhang Sheng and his beloved Cui Yingying, the daughter of a court minister, whose love sets an unacceptable social precedent due to differences in material status. The then institution of marriage rarely took into account the feelings of young spouses, being usually arranged by families who wanted to enter into beneficial alliances. The performance will take place tomorrow, i.e. on Friday, July 28. at the Meilanfang Theater in Beijing.
